US Army Private Walter G. Lindsey appears to be the son of Walter G. Lindsey (Sr.) of Camden, Alabama and Rosa L. Moore of Century, Florida. There is very little information concerning his family life or his origins. We know that he was a private in the US Army infantry but we do not know what unit he was attached to. He was killed in action on September 30, 1951 and brought home on the US Army transport SS Loma Victory on December 15, 1951. If anyone has any information please forward so we can honor this soldier for his sacrifice.
