91. Escambia County's First Black Outlaw (Part XIV)

Updated: Apr 2, 2022

For years, people thought he was buried in an unmarked grave in the Brewton Cemetery. However, researchers found that he actually had been transported to Pensacola, Florida and buried in the black section of the St. John's Cemetery. Thus, the young man wound up where he basically began. Infamous Outlaw or Robin Hood, who can tell and who's around to know the real story. I've read a multitude of stories, some fact and some myth about the legend of Railroad Bill! In the end, it's your call!
