The Military Order of the Cootie is a non-profit Veterans Service Organization that was founded in New York City on September 17, 1920. The Cootie's are based on good humor and fun as well as caring for the widows and children of our military veterans. Millions of dollars have been donated to the families during the history of the organization. Following the outbreak of World War II, the Cooties were called upon to entertain our troops located in hospitals throughout the country.
